Social Terms & Conditions

 

  • The prize draw is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over, except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw.

  • The prize draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.

  • To enter the prize draw, you must comment on the social media post on Instagram. The number of entries in the prize draw will equal the number of comments you have left on the post. There will be 3 winners.

  • The opening date for entries is midday on 19 January 2026. The closing date of the prize draw is 23:59 on 25 January 2026. Entries received after this time will not be valid.

  • The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault of any kind (including a technical fault on Instagram or Facebook which prevents you from commenting on the post(s).

  • The winner will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process on 26 January 2026 ("Draw Date").

  • The winners will receive a delivered bunch of flowers, with an indicative value of approximately £22.

  • The winners will be notified on their social media accounts (by direct message to the social media profile which has been selected as winner) on 26 January 2026 and must provide a postal address to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within seven (7) days of being notified by the Promoter, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.

  • The prize will be sent to the winners by post within seven (7) days of the prize winner providing their postal address (provided that the prize winner provided their postal address within seven days of being notified by the Promoter).

  • The prize for the winners is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.

  • The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

  • The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname (in the case of Facebook winners) or the profile name (in the case of Instagram winners) of prize winners, to anyone who writes to the Social Media Competition Team, Century House, Brunel Road, Wakefield, WF0 2XG (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date stated in condition 4. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter on the relevant social media profiles (Facebook: facebook.com/cardfactoryplc, or Instagram: cardfactoryplc). In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

  • Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.

  • The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.

  • Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

  • Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in this prize draw Terms and Conditions and in line with its’ obligations under the UK GDPR. Personal Data of entrants or winners is not shared with third parties unless required to do to enable the competition to run, or if required by law. The Promotor, as Data Controller, will retain prize winners’ personal data for no longer than one month after the closing date, unless required to do so by law.   • These terms and conditions and this promotion are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in England.

  • The Promoter of this prize draw is Sportswift Limited trading as cardfactory of Century House, Brunel Road, Wakefield, WF0 2XG.
